Doing whatever it takes to educate children and strengthen the community. Being the change you wish
to see in the world. —attributed to Mohandas Gandhi

This quote is inspirational and empowering in its message which is essentially, that if I want to see change happen in this world, it needs to start me! The Be The Change Academy is dedicated to providing educational courses to children and young people in a unique and engaging manner.
We understand that every individual has an inner genius and the potential to fulfill his or her personal mission. By starting to uncover that genius at an early age, young people can be inspired to develop their personal talents, increase and deepen their knowledge, and cultivate leadership skills to truly make a difference in their own communities and in the world. We help to bring out that genius and nurture it through play, creativity, movement, and study of subjects and discussion of issues which are often overlooked.

Training Programmes

Home Alone

Ideally, children should be supervised at all times by a responsible adult. However, today’s family situations often cannot accommodate this idea. The number of school-age children home alone has risen over the last few years. The main factors are thought to be more working parents and single parent households. The Home Alone Program is designed to provide children 10 years of age and older with the necessary skills and knowledge to be safe and responsible when home alone for short periods of time. It will help them understand how to prevent problems, handle real-life situations, and keep them safe and constructively occupied.
Upon the completion of this program, each child will to able to:
  • Identify the consequences of decisions and actions made in daily life.
  • Follow safety procedures and describe ways to obtain emergency help.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of how to use 999 correctly through role-play and by stating situations when it is appropriate to call 999.
  • Review basic first aid procedures.
